Michael J. Geiger

Geiger Mediation Services, LLC, offers a wide range of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services. While the primary focus remains mediation as a process to resolve disputes, GMS also provides early neutral evaluation, arbitration, allocation and mini-trial alternatives. Michael Geiger founded GMS to provide these alternatives after experiencing systemic delays and gross cost inefficiencies in the litigation processes.

Mediation, a voluntary and confidential process, allows parties to candidly assess their interests and risks. With the assistance of a mediator, the parties can craft solutions beyond the litigation setting. Mediation is not limited. Instead, agreed upon settlements can not only resolve pending disputes, but also set a framework for a revised or new relationship. The mediator facilitates discussions and guides the parties in the process.

Why Mediate?

Mediation is a process in which a professionally trained mediator seeks to assist parties to reach resolution over disagreements. But we already have courts where disputes can be decided. We have alternative processes such as arbitration where disagreements can be resolved. Why should parties mediate?
